School

The monks receive mainly spiritual and monastic education about traditional Tibetan Buddhism along with day-to-day spiritual rituals and practice. However, it becomes increasingly important to impart modern education to the monks for their overall holistic development. Therefore, whether monks spend their whole life as a monk or not our aim is to provide them modern educations for their present life, and Buddhism in order to liberate not only oneself but all mother beings. We are following the curriculum below with five teachers and 54 monks so far, but our aim is to provide 12th class education here in monastery for monks same as lay school. We are also planning to add a computer class and Art. People from different countries had been volunteered teacher for some period in past years, this is very helpful for learn different things so if there is anyone who are willing to be volunteer teacher for some period are welcome.
